We are very grateful to Oliver Jessop for the report below which is the outcome of an archaeological landscape survey of the Park. It identifies some large and many small features which contribute to the significance of the site. None of these features are very old but some of those created a hundred or so years ago are worthy of being restored or maintained. The report emphasises the significance of the landscape which has not been altered since the early 1900s, when the house was built and the grounds were laid out.
