.Our 2026 Annual General Meeting will be held on Monday 29 June at 7.45 pm in Whirlow Brook Hall.
From 6.30pm there will be displays of what has been happening over the past year,
and of the history of the Park and Hall, plus sales of our notecards. Tea and coffee
will be available. Pride of place in the displays will go to our King’s Award Trophy,
presented to us by the Lord Lieutenant of South Yorkshire just a few months ago.
At 7pm, there will be a presentation about the trees of Whirlow Brook Park, given by
Esther Hyde of Weddles Landscape Architects. Esther has been working on a
comprehensive survey of the trees in the park and has found a huge variety of
planting, including many gems.
